MANAGEMENT PHILOSOPHY

The FABAL management team has substantial experience in investments, agribusiness and general management. In order to provide a full service operation to our owners, members and partners we have 'in house' expertise in wine, viticulture, horticulture, marketing, sales, agri-tourism, agri-business production, finance, law, property, banking, planning, management and accounting. This breadth of experience allows it to be a pre-eminent originator and manager of agribusiness projects.

AGRIBUSINESS MANAGEMENT

FABAL is open to manage all forms of agribusiness for individuals, families, corporates or institutions based in Australia or elsewhere in the world.

Our services range from simple farm management through to sophisticated and complex management from farm to plate. FABAL can provide financial reporting and corporate governance in Australia and in international formats.

VITICULTURAL MANAGEMENT

FABAL has strategically worked to become the supplier of premium wine grapes of first choice to many of the major Australian wine companies.

FABAL currently manages, for its shareholders and itself, more than 1,500 hectares of vineyards in premium wine grape regions in the Barossa Valley, Padthaway, Clare Valley, Langhorne Creek and McLaren Vale regions in South Australia, Margaret River in Western Australia and Heathcote in Victoria.

FABAL has only undertaken vineyard developments matched with secure grape purchase agreements with Australia's prominent wine companies. This ensures that the majority of all wine-grapes produced on the FABAL managed vineyards are contracted for sale to leading wine groups including Treasury Wine Estates, Accolade Wines Australia, Pernod Ricard Winemakers, Taylors Wines, DeBortoli Wines, Brown Brothers, McWilliams Wines and other leading wineries.

WATER INFRASTRUCTURE

FABAL has been developing and managing water infrastructure since 2004, associated with its agribusiness operations. This has been extended to mining and recyclable waste projects over this period.

The range of solutions have included pipeline development, desalination plant installation and management, aquifer storage, recovery systems, dam building and many other water solutions to our customers and partners.

A large and critical project came in 2008 with the development of the 42km Marathon Water pipeline during the height of the drought in Southern Australia. The project included pipeline development and acquifer storage & recharge (ASR) together with sophisticated and technical pumping requirements.

FABAL has continued to develop and manage new water infrastructure projects since this time.
