Chris Day
Group Chief Executive Officer

Chris Day was appointed Group Chief Executive Officer of The FABAL Group Pty Ltd in July 2012. However, he has been the CEO since incorporation in 1990. Chris, as one of the four founders of FABAL, has also been a director and chief executive officer of Food And Beverage Australia Pty Ltd since 1982. His responsibilities include strategic management and business planning.
Until 2004, he was the chief executive officer of Berren Asset Management Limited, the manager of Australia's largest publicly-listed wine investment fund, the International Wine Investment Fund. He also worked for the Hardy Wine Company and Foster’s Wine Estates.
Chris has over 30 years’ experience in the wine industry and a further seven years’ experience in the legal, accounting, tax and merchant banking industries. Chris is a member of the Audit Committee. He is currently a director of four public companies.

Ashley Keegan
Chief Executive Officer (FABAL Operations)

Following an earlier incarnation as a Chiropractor, Ashley's career has moved into viticulture and agribusiness. Ashley helped develop Bantry Bay Vineyard Estate in Margaret River before moving to South Australia to take on the Chief Viticulturist role for FABAL. In 2012, after 13 years with the company, Ashley took over as the Chief Executive Officer and oversees the management of in excess of 1600 hectares of vineyards, spread over 20 sites throughout the key grape growing regions across the country.
He is currently part of the Leadership Group of Wine Innovation Cluster (WIC), and a member of the CSIRO Digital Agricultural Working Group. Ashley is also a past member of the Executive Committee of the South Australian Wine Industry Association (SAWIA). He is also a past board member of Vine Health Australia (formerly the Phylloxera and Grape Industry Board of South Australia) and an alumni of the Wine Federation of Australia’s Future Leaders.

Chris Dundon
Chief Governance and Horticulture Officer and Company Secretary

Chris Dundon, has almost 35 years’ experience as a viticulturist in the wine industry throughout Australia and New Zealand, joining FABAL in September 2002. He previously worked with Beringer Blass Wine Estates and Southcorp Wines. Chris was the Technical Manager of Netafim Australia and has broad experience in a range of horticultural crops.
Chris is the company secretary and is a member of the Audit and Risk, Business Development, and Compliance and Governance and Committees.

Irene Kamm
Group Manager Retail & Client Services
BBus (Commercial Law)
Irene has more than 30 years of experience in financial industry client services management and business administration and fifteen years’ experience in the financial services compliance management arena relating to agribusiness in particular and corporations in general.
Irene is a member of the Business Development and Compliance and Governance Committees.

Chiqi Zhang
Group Manager - Accounting & Chief Marketing Officer - China

Chi joined FABAL in 2007, and has 9 years of experience in the Australian wine industry and 2 years experience in the Education Import/Export industry.
He has been directly involved in the Chinese market development and operations. He is a member of the Risk Management Committee and a member of the Audit Committee.
